What type of individuals would benefit from an Executive JD law degree?
Individuals who want the knowledge and power of the law – but do not desire to work as an attorney. Often these are individuals are already employed in occupations in medicine, nursing, banking, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, education, law enforcement, intelligence, security, real estate, etc. These individuals often desire to expand or enhance their career or increase their understanding of the regulatory processes of everyday life.

Are there different “types” of Executive J.D. law degree programs?
Yes. The Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence offers four (4) areas of concentration within the Executive J.D. law degree. The areas of concentration include: (1) General law; (2) Corporation and Business Law; (3) Forensic Law; and (4) Healthcare Administration & Law.

Does the Executive JD law degree prepare someone to take a State Bar Examination?
No. The Executive JD law degree does not prepare someone to take any State Bar Examination in any State.

Can credit earned in the Executive JD law degree be transferred to Law degree programs which do prepare someone to take a State Bar Examination?
No. The Executive JD law degree courses are NOT transferrable to other JD degree programs which do prepare and qualify students to take any State Bar Examination.

How long does it take to complete the Executive J.D. law degree program?
The Executive J.D. law degree program at the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence takes approximately 24 months to complete.

How much does the Executive J.D. law degree program cost?
The Executive J.D. law degree program at the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence costs approximately $18,500.00 (total tuition; books are extra).

Is financing or Installment Payment Plans available?
Yes. Payments may be made through installment plans after a Seat Deposit and an Initial payment is made.

Is the program totally Online – or is it a “Hybrid”?
The Executive J.D. law degree program at the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence is a “hybrid” program. Although much work is done online and via video conferencing, Lectures, depending upon the student cohort and concentration, may be required on a monthly basis.

Will there be research assignments?
Yes. Legal research assignments will be assigned from time to time.

Will there be Examinations?
Yes. There may be Mid-Term and / or Final Examinations depending upon the course and the Professor in charge of the course.

Are foreign student eligible for Admission?
Yes. Admission criteria (listed above) are considered without concern to nationality, ethnicity, origin of birth or current living venue.

Do the general policies and procedures of Aristotle University apply to the Executive J.D. program?
Yes. All general policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence are applicable to the Executive J.D. law degree program. Where does the Faculty come from?
All Faculty of the Executive J.D. law degree program are from the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence and the Aristotle University.

What books are used for the Executive J.D. program?
All educational materials are selected by the Faculty of Law; they generally are the same or similar type texts and materials which are used in the Bar-qualifying JD law degree programs.

Is the Socratic method used in the Executive J.D. program?
Yes. The “case method” is an excellent learning methodology which has been extensively used throughout the study of law. However, more didactic sessions are used with this type of distance learning program.

When do classes begin?
Classes begin in “cohorts” throughout the year.
