Welcome to the UNESCO International Bioethics Journal Club ! ! !

The UNESCO International Bioethics Journal Club (UNESCO IBJC) is a newly created online international bioethics journal club formed through the joint cooperative efforts of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific School of Ethics (Bangkok, Thailand) and Aristotle University (California, USA).

The purpose of the journal club is to promote the ideals of UNESCO, promote education and understanding of bioethics, and specifically continue and expand the dialogue, acceptance and implementation of the principles and covenants of the UNESCO Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights. The UNESCO IBJC desires to “keeping alive” the dialogue on bioethics amongst the 47 Member States in Asia and the Pacific region – and this will hopefully spread to include other parts of the world as well!
