Committee of Bar Examiners Registration

Pursuant to Rule V, Registration, Section 2, of the California State Bar Rules Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California, entitled General Applicants, all students enrolled in J.D. programs at the Aristotle University College of Law which are intended to qualify them to sit for the California Bar Exam MUST register with the Committee of Bar Examiners within ninety (90) days following the first day of formal study. Candidates for admission to the State Bar of California must register with the Committee of Examiners for the California Bar no later than three (3) months after beginning law study. Forms are available online from the committee of Bar Examiners at www.calbar.ca.gov. Questions related to the forms can be directed to the Committee of Bar Examiners at the Los Angeles office at 1149 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015 or the San Francisco office at 180 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.

RULE V.   Registration.
Section 1. All applicants seeking admission to practice law must register with the Committee prior to filing any applications, petitions, requests for waivers from these rules or before any services can be provided.
Section 2. General Applicants.
(a). Every general applicant for admission to practice law in California shall register with the Committee not later than 90 days after he or she begins the study of law and shall pay the required fee.
Any student intending to practice law in the State of California is advised to comprehensively and critically evaluate any and all rules, regulations and requirements regulating the practice of law in the State of California. A copy of the rules may be obtained through contacting:
