| Deferred Payment Plans |
|
The Aristotle University College of Law offers a deferred payment plan (interest free) for students in need of financial assistance. All such deferred payment plans must be approved by the Dean of Students of the Aristotle University College of Law. Students approved for the deferred payment plan may make installment payments over the course of a particular semester or year. Should any student accepted for a deferred payment program become delinquent in their installment payments toward a tuition account, they may be prohibited from attending class, precluded from taking examinations, prohibited from enrolling in additional classes, prohibited from receiving transcripts or grades, and/or graduating; etc. An example of a common payment arrangement will include a one-thousand and five-hundred dollar ($1,500.00) Intent to Register Fee (down payment) applied against total tuition, with the remaining tuition balance to be paid over 10 months. Thus, for a tuition amount of seven-thousand four-hundred and fifty-five dollars ($7,455.00), less one-thousand five-hundred dollars ($1,500.00), a balance of approximately five-thousand nine-hundred and fifty-five dollars ($5,955.00) would remain. Such balance, if paid in ten equal installment payments over a ten (10) month period, would be paid at approximately $595.50 dollars per month (interest free). Method of payment is typically by credit card or through an established checking account direct withdrawal and such deferred payment shall be based on a Promissory Note. Collateralization of the Promissory Note may be necessary depending upon the applicant’s credit history. Because the deferred payment plan is a privilege, and not a right, such privilege may be revoked if a student establishes a pattern of default through consistently late payments or returned checks. |
