Grade Designations and Grade Points |
Grade designations, for either J.D. or LL.M. law students, commensurate with weighting and grade points for all courses taken at the Aristotle University College of Law shall be as follows:
| Grade Assigned | Grade Points | | 100+ | A+ | 4.3 | | 95-99 | A | 4.0 | | 90-94 | A- | 3.9 | | 87-89 | B+ | 3.7 | | 84-86 | B | 3.0 | | 80-83 | B- | 2.9 | | 75-79 | C+ | 2.7 | | 70-74 | C | 2.0 | | 65-69 | C- | 1.9 | | 60-64 | D+ | 1.7 | | 55-59 | D | 1.0 | | 50-54 | D- | 0.9 | | Below 50 | F | 0.0 | | | | | | P / F | Pass / Fail | | | CR / NC | Credit / No Credit | | | W | Withdraw | |
For classes with grade designations of P/F or CR/NC, the student will be given credit for courses successfully completed but his or her grade point average will not be affected. Similarly, a “Fail” grade or “F” will be treated as a “no credit” or “NC” such that neither grade will be considered when calculating a student’s total grade point average. A grade of “W” or “Withdrawal” means that a student withdrew from a course and accordingly no credit or grade points will be granted. Recorded grades will not be changed unless it is determined by the Administration that there was a clear case of error.
