Graduation Requirements
The Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence requirements for graduation, whereby the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence shall confer the J.D. degree upon its students (the J.D. degree which is State of California Bar Examination qualifying), the Executive J.D. degree (which is not State Bar Examination qualifying) and the LL.M. Degree, shall include the requirements as listed below.

J.D. Degree (Online Program) – California State Bar Qualifying
  1. Must have satisfactorily completed and received credit for all required courses
  2. Must have satisfactorily passed the FYSLE
  3. Must have completed 84 Semester Units
  4. Maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00
  5. Must have completed 864 hours of preparation and study per year (i.e., between 48 and 52 weeks) for four (4) twelve month periods (4 years)
  6. Must have had NO Honor Code violations
  7. Must have timely registered with the California State Bar as an entering Law Student
  8. Must have submitted a Petition to Graduate
  9. Must have satisfied all financial obligations to the College
  10. Must have been in compliance with all rules and regulations of the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence
Executive J.D. (Online) – Non-California State Bar Qualifying
  1. Must have satisfactorily completed and received credit for all required courses
  2. Complete 84 Semester Units
  3. Maintain a Grade Point Average of 2.00 or greater in all classes completed;
  4. Have NO Honor Code violations
  5. Must have submitted a Petition to Graduate
  6. Must have satisfied all financial obligations to the College
  7. Must have been in compliance with all rules and regulations of the Aristotle University Institute of Law and Jurisprudence.
