Concurrent with our University obtaining full five (5) year approval (the maximum attainable in the State of California, USA) as a California private postsecondary degree-granting institution of higher education as deemed by the State of California, Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE), the University created and formed the Aristotle University School of Public Health and Research Institute. This School was formed in response to a determinable global need and was the result of international request. Aristotle University has been widely sought out to conduct research and to explore, on behalf of other countries and organizations, various health service improvements on an international scale. This work has been initiated via the implementation of research and related biotechnology to the current and immediate public health issues and concerns which exist worldwide. Indeed, several foreign governmental agencies have requested that we assist them in establishing various public health programs in their nations. Accordingly, as we evaluate future engagements in public health service and research carefully, the establishment of the Aristotle University School of Public Health and Research Institute became the necessary first step – and has served an extremely important role. Working closely with the Aristotle University College of Law – the Aristotle School of Public Health and Research Institute will be further enhanced in its quest to contribute, intelligently and effectively, to the field of global health diplomacy, public health, and to the preservation of human rights and human dignity across nations. In this regard, the Aristotle University School of Public Health and Research Institute has already begun to form numerous key affiliations and cooperative working relationships with other colleges, universities, colleges of law, and schools of public health, throughout the world. We believe strongly that such affiliations will deepen our reputation and provide meaningful working relationships across international borders and enhance our ability to contribute to the public good and improvement of the human condition worldwide. |
