Aristotle University College of Law
Purpose
The Aristotle University College of Law was created for the purpose of implementing and emphasizing sound legal scholarly academia and a sound commitment to and understanding of professional legal ethics in the study and practice of law – ultimately culminating in its students the pursuit of truth, academic excellence, the ability of critical intellectual analysis, and respect for human rights and human dignity which shall enhance society. The methods and educational emphases chosen by Aristotle University College of Law to fulfill its purpose are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

  • Developing an environment of academic excellence and academic freedom
  • The use of the Socratic dialectic and case-method analyses
  • Requiring advanced courses in Professional Legal Ethics throughout the J.D. program
  • Providing a Faculty consisting of individuals who are both scholarly and honorable contributors to society
  • Attracting students who are committed to becoming ethical attorneys
  • Educating students who are devoted to contributing to the public good
  • Promoting our students to positions of leadership in both private and public service
  • Enhancement of learning through use of our Aristotle e-Learning Scholar360 technology
